Unite for Children, Unite against AIDS.
“We know what we need to do to stop children being born with HIV. We know how to keep them and their parents alive so they don’t have to stand by and watch each other dying. We know what support and protection vulnerable children need if they’re to have any hope of a future; we know how to stop teenagers becoming infected with HIV. We know enough. It’s time to start taking action.”Lord David Puttnam
Under the slogan, Unite for Children, Unite against AIDS, the UNICEF campaign seeks to bring children - the missing face of AIDS - into the spotlight and scale up action on their behalf.

Ewan McGregor’s Malawi Field Trip Diary.
Diary entry three:
“Our first stop was the Kawale Youth Centre. We met a girl called Hope who’s 14 and she very proudly showed us round. It’s basically a small room, divided into two: on the right were lots of older boys very studiously reading newspapers and school text books, and on the other side of the partition the little kids were sitting on the floor reading children’s books. And it was so quiet - that’s the first thing that struck me: they were sitting there, quietly, without any teachers. In Africa, the kids have first hand experience of why they need education.”

“Hello, I’m Ewan McGregor, a UNICEF Ambassador, and I’m donating my Moto Guzzi motorcycle to UNICEF for auction on eBay. It’s the first of its kind in this colour and one of my favourite bikes. I collected this bike from the Moto Guzzi factory in Italy and rode it back to London. I’ve loved riding it ever since and I know that you will too.”
Pre-register now to bid for Ewan McGregor’s Moto Guzzi California Vintage motorbike, due to be auctioned on eBay from 27 November 2008.
The money raised will go to our Children’s Emergency Fund, which enables us to provide life-saving supplies such as health kits, food and shelter to children and families in desperate need.
By Any Means starts this Sunday on BBC2News item 04 September 2008

Ahora diganme si no es un buen mensaje sobre todo ,cuando ya casi es NAVIDAD,es el momnto oportuno de pensar en los niños de mundo.Bueno sin mas ,me despido totalmente inspirada y motivada a ayudar a lo niños By
